BOOK SPOTLIGHT & REVIEW: Miracle Man By William R. Leibowitz

Miracle Man
By William R. Leibowitz
Genre: Thriller (medical/conspiracy/psychological)

REVERED REVILED REMARKABLE

The victim of an unspeakable crime, an infant rises to become a new type of superhero. Unlike any that have come before him, he is not a fanciful creation of animators, he is real.
So begins the saga of Robert James Austin, the greatest genius in human history. But where did his extraordinary intelligence come from?
As agents of corporate greed vie with rabid anti-Western radicals to destroy him, an obsessive government leader launches a bizarre covert mission to exploit his intellect. Yet Austin’s greatest fear is not of this world.
Aided by two exceptional women, one of whom will become his unlikely lover, Austin struggles against abandonment and betrayal. But the forces that oppose him are more powerful than even he can understand.

My Review:

Bobby could be titled the Eighth Wonder of the World. His arrival into life was tragic, yet he overcame it all by his natural intelligence. His growth was unlike any other child his age. He surpassed “normal” children. His mental growth did lack emotional experiences that torment him years later. He begins making contributions to the scientific world that put him in great danger. Miracle Man is a long read jam-packed with details about a man who is not understood by many and loved by few. It is a fascinating story.

Author Bio

William R. Leibowitz has been practicing entertainment/media law in New York City for a number of years. He has represented numerous renowned entertainers and many entertainment and media notable companies. William has a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and a law degree from Columbia University.
William wrote Miracle Man because of its humanistic and spiritual messages and because he feels that in our current times--when meritless celebrity has eclipsed accomplishment and the only heroes are those based on comic books, the world needs a real hero--and that, of course, is Robert James Austin, the protagonist in Miracle Man.

From the slums of Miami, the glitzy South Beach nightlife, to Cartel controlled Mexico, the boys will learn that despite their best intentions, no one job is the same and that there are battles to be fought outside of war zones.

My Review:

Dan Straka has dealt a winning hand!  A Wolf On The Loose is the 1st of five episodes in 36 parts centered on two friends and combat veterans from entirely different economic and racial backgrounds who extend an alliance into civilian life.  This powerful story unfolds from there! Superbly written, colorful and real character development, and just plain exciting past / present writing style and plot twists that pull you into the protagonists lives and keep you enthralled at every turn! As an ex-marine, very accurate in detail, as well. Honestly, I can't wait to read episode 2 in this series, and I love the way that Mr. Straka has structured this tale. Strong stuff, and beautifully told. Five Stars!

My Review:

A Matter of Time is a supernatural twist on a famous historical accident in our history, the sinking of the Titanic.  Michael J. Bowler has eloquently balanced the early 1900s and the mid-1980s. Don’t be fooled into thinking that this is just another tale about the Titanic. It’s far from. Bowler’s imagination went for an exhausting ride when it spun this story. Young adult, Jamie, who is risking everything to save the ship. He falls in love, faces death, and questions the action of fate in just four days. this is an action-packed ride from cover to cover and I loved it! Five Stars.
